KITASATO/MAJ/MMOA-3/(703) 784-9284/ EMAIL: [email protected]// GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. The Fiscal Year 2026 Lieutenant Colonel Command Screening board convened on 8 July 2025. The board consisted of 2 general officers and 19 colonels who screened the records of 676 lieutenant colonels and lieutenant colonels (sel) for assignment to 143 commands. 2. Command screening ensures that Marines receive the best possible leadership while providing all eligible officers with a fair and equitable opportunity to compete for command. The small number of command billets available relative to the number of eligible officers makes command selection an exceptionally competitive process. 3. The following officers are approved as primary selectees for command: NAME MOS COMMAND AHERN, ROBERT F. 7518 VMFA-314, MAG-11 ALBANO JR., JOSEPH F. 0302 2D LAR BN ALBIN, ERIC D. 0402 CLB-22 ALBRECHT,
