The Academic Year (AY) 2027-28 Reserve Officer Professional Military Education (RPME) Selection Board convened on 14 September 2026 to select officers desiring attendance at Full- Length School (FLS), Distance Education Programs (DEP), and a Staff Training Course. 2. The RPME opportunities and respective codes used by the RPME Selection Board are listed below (read in two columns: school and course code). 2.a. Resident Top Level Schools (TLS): Air War College AWC College of Naval Warfare CNW College of Information and Cyberspace CIC Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security ESNSRS and Resource Strategy Marine Corps War College MCWAR National War College NWC U.S. Army War College USAWC 2.b. Applicants selected as primaries and approved by CMC (RA) will receive correspondence from this headquarters with pertinent information regarding school selection and orders processing. 4. The list of officers selected as eligible alternates for RPME will not be published via MARADMIN. The alternates list can be found by accessing https://www.manpower.marines.mil/Divisions/Reserve- Affairs-Division/Reserve-Affairs-Management-RAM/Reserve-Affairs- Management-Embeds/. Scroll down to “Reserve Programs and Boards (RAM-3).” Select “Reserve PME/GEP.” Select “AY 2027-28 RPME Alternates.” The alternate list is valid until the next RPME Board convenes. 6. Orders Processing and Funding. Specific orders writing instructions will be provided to all selectees via separate correspondence. To provide ample time for routing and travel coordination, orders shall be initiated at least 90 days prior to the course convening date. 7. Selected officers have been screened for eligibility. Failure to maintain eligibility or meet orders issuance requirements 90 days prior to the course convening date could result in removal from the course. 8. Individual Responsibilities. 8.a. Accept or decline selection to RPME via the AY 27-28 RPME Board Acceptance/Declination Survey by accessing https://www2.manpower.usmc.mil/application_cac/. Officers selected will have 30 days from the release of this MARADMIN to accept or decline their RPME selection. 8.b. Service Obligation and Statement of Understanding (SOU). Service obligations vary depending on reserve component category and RPME opportunity in accordance with reference (a). RC officers selected for resident full length schools are required to sign a SOU and attach to their Acceptance Survey when accepting their offer to attend RPME. Scroll down to “Reserve Programs and Boards (RAM-3).” Select “Support Documentation.” Select “RPME SOU.” 8.c. Officers requesting a deferral must do so via AA Form endorsed by the first general officer in their chain of command and forwarded to HQMC (RAM-3) no later than 90 days from the release of this MARADMIN. Requests for deferral will be carefully reviewed on a case-by-case basis for a determination on the deferral request. Final slating of deferred school seats will be based on the needs of the Marine Corps. 8.d. Per reference (b), officers selected for resident PME shall have orders in hand prior to executing any portion of travel or movement. Commencement of travel shall not occur prior to the dates prescribed on the orders. Travel entitlements will be in accordance with reference (b). 9. Post-Full Length School Professional Development Tour (Post-FLS PDT) Opportunity. The Director, Reserve Affairs intends to globally source manpower shortfalls with Reserve Component officers who recently completed resident PME opportunities. Eligible billets will be staff/planning roles at the HQMC, MARFOR, MSC, and MEF levels that provide officers with valuable professional development and career- enhancing experiences to complement their recent PME. Officers will indicate their desire to execute a Post-FLS PDT in their RPME Acceptance Survey. For officers who are eligible and accept a post- FLS PDT, Active Duty for Operational Support (ADOS) orders will run concurrent with the 24-month obligation incurred with completion of resident FLS. PDT orders are dependent on the availability of funds and are not guaranteed to be offered to FLS students. 10.
